Trivia
Movies
• Blood from the Mummy's Tomb (1971)
Peter was to star as Professor Julian Fuchs in this Hammer Film Production, but pulled out after just one day because his wife took ill and shortly later died of emphysema. Andrew Keir took over the role instead. The Anchor Bay region one DVD contains photographs of Peter's day on this production.
• Star Wars (1977)
Peter wore slippers instead of the boots he was supposed to wear in the movie, because they were too small and hurt his feet. In most scenes the camera shoots Peter from the waist up.

Television
• BBC Sunday Night Theatre: 1984 (1954)
This live television drama raised a few eyebrows, it was seen as so disturbing that questions were asked in Parliament as to its suitability for broadcast. Watchdogs tried to get the second live broadcast cancelled but it was aired all the same and this time recorded for posterity.
• Jim'll Fix It: Bank Holiday Special (1976)
"Jim fixes it for Shelly Bewes, Julian Gilbert & Stephen Harry to meet Peter Cushing. Steven comes on at end dressed as Dracula to 'frighten' Peter."
• Jim'll Fix It: 'Helen Cushing Rose' (1986)
Peter Cushing wrote to Jim'll Fix It in 1986 and asked for a rose to be named after his late wife Helen. A rose was cultivated by Christopher Wheatcroft from Nottinghamshire and he was granted his wish.

Miscellaneous
• Peter was dressed as a girl when he was young because his mother wanted both a boy and a girl. As his parents already had a boy three years earlier, Peter had for a while to put up with this indignity until his father exercised his authority and a change of attire for young Peter.
