Jane and Frank Pullar move to the country so that their children can grow up away from city pollution. Soon after their move, Jane hears a woman crying in the attic room although there is no one there. As neither Frank nor the children have heard anything out of the ordinary, it is thought that Jane is suffering from depression and perhaps schizophrenia. Possibly the real answer is far more terrifying for the family.
