Rich American businessman, Brad Hunter and his wife are in London for a vacation when Brad starts to act very bizarrely. Brad incorrectly introduces his wife, Suzy to a business associate as Theresa. His wife is clearly upset but he is unable to provide any explanation. All manner of strange thoughts start to take over Brad's mind as well as his identity, to the point where he thinks that he is an Englishman called Charles Merrow.

Arthur Page, The Carnation Killer, escapes from the Black Mariah he is travelling in when it crashes, rendering his captors either dead or unconscious. The insane serial killer makes his way to the Waterloo railway station where he quickly snaps up the nearest red carnation for his buttonhole. Arthur is having a very good day which is made even better when he is met by a pretty legal secretary called Julie Marsh who has been asked by her employer to meet a client wearing a red carnation.

A woman enters a police station dazed and confused, saying that she has just committed a murder. Although she cannot remember her name she can partially remember the details of the killing of an unknown person with a metal fireplace poker. An eager, newly promoted detective is straight on the case, but things are not at all as they appear. It is found that she probably just has an overactive imagination coupled with the fact her husband is a writer of murder novels.

Country village folk can be a weird old bunch, no more so if they think you are the 'chosen one'. Dr. Bruce Nelson and his wife Tessa move to a quiet little village as a vacancy at the local doctor's practice has become available, after the previous doctor accidentally fell down the stairs breaking his neck. The local people seem friendly enough at first, in an odd inbred way, but when the full moon and 'lady day' approach, things come to a head - blondes definitively have more fun in this village that's for sure...
